     So first off...Happy Easter, everyone!! Every year it fails to occur to me how awesome this holiday is for us as Christians - and then it all hits me when I'm in church and I get really overwhelmed. It's not that I don't remember what our Lord did for us, I think it's that I wish I would cherish it as much everyday, as I do for this one week.

     Well, basically, what's weighing on my mind right now is that I really need prayer for numerous things. First, one of my really good friends, her dad has been practically bed ridden for months, because of multiple health conditions. Her family is fighting with insurance company's, and my friend, at 16, has had to go to work full time to help provide for her family. Please pray for God's rich blessings to be upon that family, and that His peace will comfort them through times of uncertainty. Also, one of the most important girls in my life, has recently decided to start smoking again. This, in itself, is not even what worries me, it's that, because of health conditions, her doctor's have told her that her lung could colapse if she's even around smoke. I'd like to have her around for a very long time yet, and so my prayer is that she'll quit for good.

    Lastly, on a personal note....As some of you know, I have travelled with a group called the Continental Singers, three times in the past two years. I strongly believe in what this ministry does and I love being a part of the organization. There are three trips/tours in the next year that I really, really want to be on. However, all together, the cost to go on all three tours would be around $15,000. I believe that God has called me to be a part of this ministry, but I am not sure in what capacity, or how involved He wants me. I do firmly believe that if God wants me on all three tours, He will abundantly provide for all of my needs. I would greatly appreciate your prayers on this matter. Patience and complete dependence on Him, are two things I need constant lessons in, so I am sure He has masterfully woven those in here, so that I will continue learning both.

OH!!! On a really, really, exciting note...well, it's exciting to me.....My brother Raymond and his wife, Amy, are expecting their first child! My first niece or nephew (we'll find out which in a couple of weeks)!!! I am so excited!!

Currently Watching Friends - The Complete Seventh Season By Friends see related

So I thought about waiting another three months before I posted in here again, just to make it a full year, but alas, I am bored, and therefore going to post.

Let's see - in the last year, I've fallen in love, prepared to get married, lost that. I travelled throughout the Western U.S. with the Continentals, and spent two weeks in India ministering to the poorest of poor, and had the most enjoyable time of life, doing the hardest things I've ever done while I was in those Indian villages. I've definitely been sucked into Continentals, and am a Continental for life. This is only because of how much Continentals has blessed me and changed my life in so many ways. Well, truthfully, it's because of how God has changed my life through Continentals. He is amazing. Also I spent more time on Catalina Island, one my favorite places to stay, and met so many awesome people throughout the entire year with every place I went.

I was involved with a production of Taming Of The Shrew and I was in the play Inherit The Wind and had the time of my life - but that can be said of almost every show I do. I saw the movie Rent four times in the first six days it was out, and I love that movie so much, it speaks volumes to my life, and about my life.

I am still a Theatre major and will have my Associates degree in May. After that, I have no idea where I will be or what I will be doing. I don't know whether I'll be in school this fall, or moving somewhere out of Arizona, or travelling. The latter two would be preferable, but my family would like me to "finish school," which to them, means a four-year degree. If I am to go to school, then I need to start finding somewhere and setting up auditions. I supppose we'll see what God wants, since that's ultimately who's in charge.

Throughout this last year, God has provided me with so many awesome and supportive friends who have helped me stay on my feet, that I really have no idea where I would be without them. At the same time, I have lost some of the people I treasured the most, both of my own accord and because of circumstances that I couldn't control or explain. I will never forget any of those people and I miss them so much. I pray that God will continue to bless their lives.

Well, that's about all I have to say for now. I have my house to myself this weekend, so I am going to enjoy the heck of of it! While I will try and pay attention to this a little more regularly, I am on MySpace all the time at www.myspace.com/roxie004 .

I am sooooooo on my way to the airport as soon as I am finished typing this!!!! Is that crazycool or what!?!?!?!!!! I am SO excited to finally be getting to see Ryan!! I seriously cannot wait, and I will get to see him in less than 10 hours! That is so unreal. This trip is going to be awesome, and I am so excited to get see Sophia and go dancing with her once again!!!

Pray for me - that wise decisions will be made and that I will have the smashingly great time that I expect to.

Austin I miss you!!! Micah it was good to see you, even if it was only for an hour!! I hope you two have/had a safe drive back to good ol' KC!!

I hope everyone has a great weekend, and for those of you on Spring Break, I hope it is also great....

1 week from RIGHT NOW I will be on a plane headed for Ohio (well, technically Nashville, and then Ohio)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are no words to express my insane giddyness!!! Sophia and I are TOTALLY going dancing the night I get there, I mean, it's tradition, and we always have a good time with that I miss you Sophia, and I cannot wait!!!! 
And THEN Saturday/Sunday I get to spend with Ryan, which is also indescribably awesome, because I love him so much!!!

I have midterms next week - that sucks.......
